ADOLESCENT SEXUAL HEALTH

Adolescent Sexual Health: Services

CONFIDENTIAL

Young people are often uncomfortable to go to their family GP to discuss their sexual health due to feelings of embarrassment or worry that their parents will find out.

It's important to know that anything you discuss with your doctor will remain between you and them, unless there is a risk of harm to you or others.

BULK BILLED

This means that you do not have to pay anything to see the doctor. You will just need to present your medicare card.

When you turn 15 you can apply to get your own medicare card.
